MARIA Die RUHE, a rising Avante-tech-pop producer, will release her latest track, ‘Superrare,’ on March 31st via Reduced To The Root. CLASH Magazine, Glamglare, and Notion Magazine have already endorsed ‘Skin.’ The singer-songwriter has performed on stages all throughout Europe, including Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, and Turkey, bringing new vitality to each performance. Despite the fact that she’s only been recording music for a few years, she’s already amassed just under 6.5 million Spotify streams, with the number steadily increasing.
The singer is from the German state of Thuringia. He has previously resided in Berlin, San Francisco, and London, and is now back in Leipzig, Germany. MARIA Die RUHE loses herself in various sonic universes while crafting her unique sound, disregarding genre and recognizing the works of Frank Wiedemann, Stimming, Dominik Eulberg, Elder Island, Sylvan Esso, James Blake, SOHN, and The Knife, to mention a few. Her voice is reminiscent of Robyn, Tove Lo, and M, among others.

MARIA Die RUHE shows off her latest opulent masterpiece with no restrictions barred. ‘Superrare’ has the aesthetic cheek that every artist needs to stand out: a little vanity fueled by a seductive beat and balanced by a sense of humor. After all, where would we be if we didn’t have our buddies to join in on our antics, one crazy pair of glasses at a time, and a throwback bassline that has us crawling back to the club one electronic embellishment at a time?
“Are we really what we seem to be? Taking a glimpse at our over-optimized world that screams for success and individualization – do we all need to be super rare, super fancy, and super perfect? Doesn’t this just make us distanced and perfectly damaged? I created this song on the edge of capitalism and capitulation. Beneath the surface, there is always a human being and it might be worth taking a second look at who a person really is. Maybe this reality is even more interesting than a seemingly needed perfectionism,” said MARIA Die RUHE.
