On the 13th of May, diamond-certified producer Antoine Chambe released his next huge single, ‘Breathing Underwater,’ featuring multi-Grammy-nominated singer Jimmy Burney. The song is the final one to be published before his debut album, Riverside, drops on June 3rd via Roy Music.
Antoine Chambe’s 5 Diamond-certified hit ‘Easy Come,’ which will also be on the next LP, and 1 Gold-certified track ‘Andalusia,’ have both contributed to his over 430 million play count across worldwide and Asian streaming platforms.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jimmy Burney has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, including Demi Lovato, Charlie Wilson, Big Time Rush, David Foster, and Babyface.
Antoine Chambe was born and raised in Lyon, France, and has performed all over the world, including at The Vibe Guide Festival 2017 (with Sam Feldt, Felix Jaehn, and Klangkarussell), MyDeezer Festival 2018 (Joris Delacroix, Yuksek, Broken Back), and live shows with Polo & Pan, C2C, Uppermost, Breakbot, and Thylacine, to name a few.
Riptide Music, a well-known publishing house, label, and music blog, was founded by Antoine Chambe. He draws inspiration from artists such as Duke Dumont, Daft Punk, Kavinsky, Kygo, and Purple Disco Machine when producing his own sound. His latest tune is reminiscent of The Weeknd, Busy P, Kavinsky, and Duke Dumont’s captivating works.
As Jimmy Burney narrates the tale of passionate yet fleeting love, a dark rolling beat transports us to a nocturnal promenade in Santa Monica. Antoine Chambe’s latest single departs from his lighter works, instead of addressing a more somber sub.
“I’m a big fan of the mix between clean French Touch beats and US Pop / R&B vocals. I’m very inspired by the collaborations between legendary French Touch producers such as Daft Punk, Kavinsky, and Busy P with pop world stars like The Weeknd, and Pharrell Williams… I’ve always wanted to try something in that style at my level. Recently I had the huge opportunity to feat. with the Grammy Nominated singer Jimmy Burney who has the perfect voice for that kind of music so I’ve given it a shot and I had so much fun doing it. Fun fact, while producing it the studio was struck by lightning so maybe it is a sign,! says Antoine Chambe.
