Tee Dee Dees, an indie synth-pop musician, released his latest track, ‘Lollipops,’ on February 11th, 2022. The song will be featured on his upcoming album, 1^2=1, which will be released this year and was produced by Ben Shopen. The CD also includes official remixes of the previously released singles ‘Slim Bears’ and ‘War,’ which were produced by renowned wave producer Juche. CLASH Magazine, Metal Magazine, CLOUT Magazine, God Is In The TV, and Absolute Radio’s Frank Skinner, as well as the Trap Nation Youtube channel, have all endorsed Tee Dee Dees.

Ori Mark, who was born and raised in Tel Aviv, spent some time in Boston before pursuing his passion for writing and becoming the editor-in-chief of Haaretz Magazine. Ori Mark’s Tee Dee Dees is his solo project, albeit he asked Tomer Z (of the UK-Israeli band Blackfield) to play drums on the record. The musician has performed on all of Tel Aviv’s major stages, as well as at Budapest’s Kolorádó Festival, which featured well-known international bands such as Alice Phoebe Lou, HUNEE, and Black Midi. Tee Dee Dees is inspired by the peppy stylings of Django Django and MGMT while establishing his own light sound. Interpol, Placebo, and Depeche Mode come to mind when listening to his music.

Tee Dee Dees tells us about the creation of ‘Lollipops’: “Four years ago, after I wrote this song, I came to the studio and recorded one take of the vocals (while I was lying on the sofa), just so we’ll have a guiding voice for the production process. When the work was almost over and it was time for the real singing, we discovered (after about 100 takes) that I can’t recreate the feel of the first draft. We decided to use the draft, even though it was recorded as if we were amateurs. Since then, for me, this song is about special sweet moments that you can’t recreate on demand”.
