Bea Laus, the Filipino-British singer-songwriter better known as beabadoobee, is back, and she’s bringing a storm.
Today, she announced her highly anticipated fourth album Pylon, arriving 18 September 2026 via Dirty Hit and Interscope Records. It’s the follow-up to her UK number 1 album This Is How Tomorrow Moves, and honestly? It hits different .
Why the name Pylon?
The title comes from the electricity towers that dot the world’s major roads—those strong, spindly structures that reminded Bea of home while she was deep in the isolation of touring. But it also captures her sharp new sound: waves of distortion that crash and shatter across 14 songs, like the crackle you hear walking under power lines .
The album wrestles with those repetitive anxieties of your mid-twenties: What if I’m always going to be this way? What if life is just pylon after pylon on the road? Relatable, right?
“Sun Has Set” is out now and it’s brutal in the best way
The lead single is pure catharsis. Bea says the song is fueled by “petty tunnel vision” — the things she wished she’d said but never got to. “It’s like, I hate you. You’re gonna stay here and listen to how much I hate you. Because I never got to say that.”
The video? Directed by her partner and longtime collaborator Jake Erland, it’s a first-person rampage that starts like a revenge fantasy and ends with Bea curling up for a nap: funny, raw, and weirdly relatable .
A killer lineup of collaborators
Bea went straight to her influences for this one. The guest list is stacked:
· Hayley Williams lends her voice to “Nothing to Prove,” an anthemic track about reclaiming your power .
· Brendan Yates of Turnstile appears on the moody “Powerlines” .
· Also appearing: Chino Moreno (Deftones), Evan Stephens Hall (Pinegrove), and Shane Moran (Title Fight) .
· Plus, Matty Healy and George Daniel of The 1975 handled production on “Write Me A Letter” .
It’s a testament to the respect Bea has earned in just a few years.
The Powerlines Tour: Her first arena run
Bea’s hitting the road for her biggest tour yet—her first ever arena shows across North America, the UK, and Europe . It kicks off 1 October and includes massive stops at Madison Square Garden, The Kia Forum, London’s The O2, and more. Support comes from Wisp (US, Canada, UK) and Violet Grohl (Europe) .
