Breakout modern soul outfit Thee Sacred Souls have released “Any Old Fool” — a previously unreleased track from the recording sessions of their acclaimed 2024 album, ‘Got a Story to Tell.’

The single is available to stream now.

A dancefloor-ready declaration of love, “Any Old Fool” showcases the band’s signature blend of timeless soul and contemporary groove. Funk-driven guitars, a raw bassline, and hard-hitting drums lay the foundation for frontman Josh Lane’s smooth, effortless vocal delivery — bringing both swagger and sincerity.

‘Got a Story to Tell’ was released in October 2024, written by founding members Alejandro Garcia, Salvador Samano, and Josh Lane. The album was recorded at Penrose Recorders with producer Gabriel Roth at the helm. Featuring 12 original tracks, the album drew inspiration from Brazilian legend Arthur Verocai, the Delfonics, Jamaican rocksteady, and Motown’s Mary Wells.
