An unbreakable bond between two friends gets challenged in “Forgotten Island,” an animated original film brought to life by DreamWorks Animation. The film, featuring Filipino culture at the forefront, stars Grammy and Academy Award® winning supernova H.E.R. and Liza Soberano as high school graduates Jo and Raissa. Best friends since grade school, they are about to embark on separate life paths — until a unexpected turn changes everything.
As they celebrate their last night together, Jo and Raissa accidentally stumble upon a mysterious portal that transports them to Nakali, a fantastical island populated by the Filipino mythical creatures they grew up hearing stories about. While searching for a way home, they encounter well-meaning-but-hapless weredog Raww (Dave Franco) and soon find themselves facing the most feared creature on the island: The Dreaded Manananggal, voiced by Tony Award® winning icon Lea Salonga.
