Popolo Music Group (PMG), the rapidly expanding international label founded by industry veteran Paul “Pooh” Lunt to establish Filipino artists globally, has launched an unprecedented nationwide talent search. The open call invites singers and dancers across the Philippines aged 14-25 (exceptions considered) to audition for solo careers or spots in new PMG-curated girl groups and boy groups. Auditions operate on a rolling basis until slots are filled, with submissions accepted at demos@popolomusic.asia.

This initiative marks a strategic push by PMG – which operates hubs in Manila, Seoul, and Tokyo – to elevate P-Pop (Philippine pop) into a globally dominant force. Selected talents will enter PMG’s exclusive six-month intensive training program covering vocals, choreography, performance mastery, and media presentation under top industry mentors. Finalists will earn full recording contracts, aligning with Lunt’s vision to make Filipino artists “unmissable” on the world stage through PMG’s global platform.

“Aspiring artists must bring more than raw talent – we seek dedication, cultural vision, and the drive to move music forward,” emphasized a PMG spokesperson. “The Philippines holds limitless potential to lead Asia’s next pop revolution.” The label’s unique ecosystem includes More Fun Music Publishing, which handles song translation, global sync licensing, and royalty collection – creating a sustainable pipeline for Filipino creativity.

AUDITION ESSENTIALS

  • Open To: Solo vocalists (M/F), dancers, and group aspirants
  • Age: 14-25 (exceptions for exceptional talent)
  • Submission: Performance video + name/age/location/contact sent to demos@popolomusic.asia
  • Process: Selectees advance to live auditions → 6-month training → contract offers

This campaign reflects PMG’s core mission to build a self-sustaining music infrastructure in the Philippines, leveraging cultural authenticity for international appeal. As Lunt’s brainchild, PMG combines artist development with global sync licensing and publishing – ensuring Filipino stars receive both visibility and commercial empowerment. With operations spanning three Asian entertainment capitals, the label is positioned to transform local talent into continental icons.

“Step into your moment,” PMG urges candidates. “Whether you dream of center stage or harmonizing in a group – if you’re ready to carry Philippine pop to new heights, we’re waiting.”
