Jakarta-based multi-instrumentalist Yana Setya N., known for his punk project Gracehowl and bass work with Saturday Night Karaoke, unveils a profound artistic evolution with his latest release as renaivé—the conceptually rich Ethereal Recurrence EP. Dropping June 16, 2025, this five-track instrumental work blends math-rock intricacy with petalcore/botanica textures to musically map the human experience from birth to rebirth.
A Departure From Random Experimentation
Following his genre-hopping trilogy (i, ii, iii), Yana shifts to deliberate storytelling with Ethereal Recurrence, his first fully conceptual EP. The two-year creative process marked new collaborations:
