Singaporean singer-songwriter and producer Shye has unveiled her latest single “All At Once,” a hauntingly beautiful indie pop track that explores the painful aftermath of lost love. Released on June 13, 2025, the song serves as an emotional follow-up to her previous single “Waited for You,” transitioning from longing to reluctant acceptance.
The atmospheric track captures the quiet devastation of heartbreak through dreamy guitar textures and raw, vulnerable lyrics. Shye describes it as being about “being haunted by the memories of a person who has moved on, while you’re still stuck in the echoes of what was.” The repeated refrain “Come back to me” poignantly expresses that emotional limbo between holding on and letting go.
Where “Waited for You” dealt with the ache of waiting for someone, “All At Once” examines what comes next – when the relationship is clearly over but memories persist everywhere. “When you’re in love, your world becomes shaped around that person,” Shye explains. “Once they leave, you’re left with the shadows of what used to be.”
The 22-year-old artist, who writes, produces and engineers all her own music, has crafted a sound that blends indie pop with electronic and alternative rock influences. Since winning a local music competition at age 16, she has released multiple EPs and albums, including 2023’s “9LIVES,” while supporting international acts like Clairo and Daniel Caesar on their Singapore tours.
Shye hopes the song resonates with listeners experiencing similar heartbreak. “I want people to feel seen and less alone in their experience,” she says. “It’s okay to not be okay – sometimes just sitting with that truth is part of healing.”
The indie star has been making waves beyond music too, having attended Paris Fashion Week with Chanel and gracing the covers of ELLE and other major magazines. She was named “Best New Act from Asia” at the 2022 BandLab NME Awards and included in Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 list.
