Grammy-Winning Rock Icons Deliver Powerful Collaboration for Hotly Anticipated Action Film

Rock music just got a major adrenaline boost. GRAMMY Award-winning Evanescence and alt-rock powerhouse K.Flay have joined forces for their first-ever collaboration, “Fight Like A Girl,” a blistering new track featured as the first end title song in Ballerina, the highly anticipated new film set in the John Wick universe.

The song, co-written by Amy Lee (Evanescence), K.Flay, Dylan Eiland, and Tyler Bates (who also produced the track), is set for release this Friday, June 6, alongside the film. This follows the recent release of Halsey and Amy Lee’s thunderous Ballerina track, “Hand That Feeds,” further amplifying excitement for the movie’s soundtrack.

A Fierce Anthem of Vengeance and Empowerment

“Fight Like A Girl” channels the raw intensity, resilience, and female empowerment at the core of Ballerina. With pounding rhythms, soaring vocals, and razor-sharp lyrics, the track mirrors the film’s high-stakes action and emotional depth.

Amy Lee shared her excitement about the collaboration: “Tyler Bates reached out at the perfect time—I know I’m not the only girl ready to dig my heels in and show the world what we’re made of. I’ve always wanted to collaborate with K.Flay, and this was a dream come true.”

K.Flay added: “When Amy sent me the demo, I was instantly hooked. I wrote my verse backstage after a show, still buzzing with adrenaline. This song—and the film—are about how we channel pain and define ourselves. What separates the hero from the villain?”

Ballerina: A High-Octane Addition to the John Wick Universe

Starring Ana de Armas, Keanu Reeves, Ian McShane, Anjelica Huston, and Norman Reedus, Ballerina follows Eve Macarro (de Armas), a young assassin training in the deadly traditions of the Ruska Roma. Set during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, the film promises brutal action, breathtaking fight choreography, and a gripping revenge story.

Directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld) and produced by Chad Stahelski (the John Wick franchise), Ballerina is poised to be one of 2025’s most explosive action films.

Evanescence’s Monumental Legacy & Upcoming Tour

Since their groundbreaking 2003 debut, Fallen, Evanescence has redefined rock music, selling over 17 million albums worldwide and earning two GRAMMY Awards. With hits like “Bring Me to Life,” “My Immortal,” and their recent Netflix single “Afterlife” (Devil May Cry soundtrack), the band continues to dominate.

This fall, Evanescence hits the road for a series of major shows, including:

  • My Chemical Romance: The Black Parade Tour (Sept. 13 – Tampa, FL)
  • Louder Than Life Festival (Sept. 21 – Louisville, KY)
  • Metallica’s M72 World Tour (Australia & New Zealand – Nov. 1-19)

K.Flay: A Force in Alt-Rock & Beyond

K.Flay (Kristine Flaherty) has carved her own path with platinum hits, two GRAMMY nominations, and collaborations with Imagine Dragons, Tom Morello, and Mike Shinoda. Her latest album, MONO, reflects her personal journey after sudden hearing loss in 2022, proving her resilience as an artist.

A Must-Hear Rock Anthem for 2025

With “Fight Like A Girl,” Evanescence and K.Flay deliver a pulse-pounding, defiant anthem that perfectly complements Ballerina’s fierce energy. As both the song and film drop this Friday, June 6, fans of hard-hitting rock and high-stakes action won’t want to miss this epic collaboration.

Will this be Evanescence’s next #1 hit? All signs point to yes.
