Director BC Amparado makes a striking feature film debut with “Gulay Lang, Manong!”, assembling a stellar cast led by Cedrick Juan, Perry Dizon, and BJ Forbes.1 The film’s recognition at Cinemalaya underscores the power of Filipino independent cinema and its ability to tell compelling, resonant stories.
