Acclaimed musician Father John Misty is back with a new single and an exciting tour announcement.
“She Cleans Up”
The latest track from Father John Misty’s highly anticipated album, “Mahashmashana,” “She Cleans Up” offers a glimpse into the sonic landscape that awaits. Produced by himself and Drew Erickson, with executive production by Jonathan Wilson, the album is set for release on November 22nd, 2024, via Sub Pop.
“Mahashmashana”
Featuring eight captivating songs, the album showcases Father John Misty’s artistic evolution. Alongside “She Cleans Up,” the record includes previously released tracks “Screamland” and “Josh Tillman and The Accidental Dose,” both mixed by BJ Burton.
The album’s title, “Mahashmashana,” translates to “great cremation ground” and reflects a sense of finality and rebirth.
Tour Dates
Father John Misty is hitting the road in 2025 to support “Mahashmashana.” The North American tour kicks off on February 12th in Chattanooga, TN, and concludes on March 1st in Washington, DC. Joining him for select dates is the acclaimed indie rock band Destroyer.
