The BBC Studios has unveiled the first trailer for Asia, an upcoming natural history series narrated by Sir David Attenborough, featuring a new track created by SEVENTEEN and the acclaimed Bleeding Fingers Music team. The series, which explores the wildlife and landscapes of the largest continent on Earth, will soon air in the Philippines on BBC Earth.
BBC Studios’ Natural History Unit released the trailer for Asia, offering a glimpse into the extraordinary creatures and breathtaking vistas from across the continent. The stunning two-minute preview is accompanied by an original score composed by K-pop megastars SEVENTEEN and award-winning composers Jacob Shea and Laurentia Editha of Bleeding Fingers Music. The trailer promises a visual journey that showcases the incredible diversity of life across Asia, featuring unique moments like urban deer traveling with workers in Japan and the alien-like sea bunny moving gracefully along the ocean floor in Indonesia.
SEVENTEEN, fresh from the success of their record-breaking 2023 album, continues to make waves internationally. Earlier this year, they became the first K-pop group to perform on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage, further cementing their status as global icons. Their involvement in Asia adds yet another milestone to their impressive career. The trailer’s uplifting soundtrack features vocals from SEVENTEEN’s DK and SEUNGKWAN, blending their emotional delivery with orchestral swells provided by Bleeding Fingers Music, perfectly complementing the visual splendor of the series.
The extended trailer is set to premiere across various platforms, including BBC Earth, and BBC Studios’ social media channels, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. It will also be shared via the social platforms of SEVENTEEN and Bleeding Fingers, ensuring fans across the globe can tune in.
