DreamWorks Animation brings The Wild Robot, the #1 New York Times bestselling novel, to life with an all-star cast. Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o voices Rozzum 7134, or “Roz,” a robot stranded on an island who learns to survive and cares for a gosling she finds.

Nyong’o is joined by Kit Connor as Brightbill, the resilient gosling. Pedro Pascal makes his animated debut as the clever fox Fink, while Emmy Award winner Catherine O’Hara plays Pinktail, the possum who helps Roz embrace motherhood. Mark Hamill voices the mighty grizzly bear, Thorn, delivering another iconic performance.

Stephanie Hsu voices the robot Vontra, Bill Nighy as Longneck, the wise goose. Directed by Chris Sanders and produced by Jeff Hermann, The Wild Robot offers a heartwarming, exciting adventure about survival, family, and self-discovery.

Nyong’o described playing Roz as a career milestone, noting the “empowerment and inspiration” she felt from the collaborative process. Pascal, voicing Fink, found his character by embracing his sense of humor to explore the role.
