New Album ‘From Zero’ Set for November 15 Release – Pre-Save Now
New Single: “The Emptiness Machine”
These exciting announcements come ahead of LINKIN PARK’s highly anticipated album, ‘From Zero,’ due out on November 15 through Warner Records. Pre-order or pre-save your copy now.
Today, the band will join Zane Lowe on Apple Music for an in-depth discussion about their legacy, the long journey to this new chapter, and their renewed energy. Fans can catch the full interview at 9 PM (GMT +8) by tuning in here.
After a seven-year hiatus, original members Shinoda, Delson, Farrell, and Hahn began reconnecting with no specific agenda beyond spending time together and rediscovering the creativity that bonded them since college. They invited friends and collaborators into the studio, including Armstrong and Brittain, and found a fresh chemistry that sparked new inspiration. This creative reconnection led to the birth of ‘From Zero,’ marking a new era for the band.
Reflecting on this new chapter, Shinoda said, “Before LINKIN PARK, we were called Xero. The title ‘From Zero’ represents our humble beginnings and our ongoing journey. This album is about embracing our past, present, and future—it has the core sound we are known for but is filled with new life. We made this with great appreciation for our old and new bandmates, friends, family, and fans. We’re proud of what LINKIN PARK has evolved into and excited for what lies ahead.”
“The Emptiness Machine” captures the essence of LINKIN PARK’s signature sound while also exploring new musical territory. This anthemic track features Shinoda’s hypnotic melodies and Armstrong’s powerful chorus, set against a backdrop of distorted guitars and compelling drums.
Shinoda adds, “Working with Emily and Colin felt natural. Their talent and energy revitalized us, and the music we made together feels fresh and empowering. We’re combining familiar sounds with new ones, and it’s a thrilling blend.”
With ‘From Zero,’ LINKIN PARK is ready to embark on a new era that honors their past while embracing the future.
