I’m not exaggerating when I say that Puregold’s Thanksgiving concert, Nasa Atin ang Palalo 2024 was a spectacle. Some of the top and most-in-demand P-Pop artists have come together to celebrate OPM’s resurgence and Puregold’s celebration of their 25 years in the business.
The concert was a huge success—all tickets were sold out as people had looked forward to the event since June, when Puregold first teased the P-Pop artists whom they are collaborating with.
“The thanksgiving concert marks another significant milestone for Puregold. Celebrating 25 years of success and 500 stores, we have also forged a path for others to create their own Panalo stories. This event is our way of showing appreciation to our loyal shoppers and the community that helped us get here,” Puregold Price Club Inc, President Vincent Co shared.
The Nasa Atin Ang Panalo concert is one of its kind, different from the usual music festivals where each artist performs amongst themselves. What made the show special was that there were a lot of surprises that the organizers had prepared for the audience. I still can’t get over everything that took place. It makes my heart beat, so let me write the highlights of one of the most looked forward shows this year.
BINI
Before starting their BINI Verse tour, the audience were held captive by the multi-talented girl group. They played fivesongs, including their chart-topping hits, “Lagi,” “Ang Huling Chacha,”“Salamin,” “Huwag muna tayong umuwi,” and “Pantropiko.”

It was the first time that my sister and I had seen the trending girl group, and they were a fun bunch; we enjoyed their set. The girls were great live, everyone was so pretty and charming. They truly lit up Araneta more.
The Bini girls were startled when, before they were about to perform “Salamin,” the teleprompter was shut. Suddenly, the huge screen played videos of their fans around the world and the leaders of their fandom giving them words of appreciation, emphasizing how much an inspiration they are, especially to all girls and women out there.

When they played “Salamin,” everyone was stunned when Justin of SB19 suddenly showed up, dancing with them towards the end of the song. Justin, as funny as he is, told everyone that it’s his first time being a girl group member. It was a set to behold!
Sunkissed Lola’s recorded performance with SB19’s Stell
Sunkissed Lola couldn’t make it live yesterday because they are currently in their Canada tour. People thought that they were doing a full recorded set, until SB19’s Stell showed you with the microphone singing along to “Pasilyo.”

By that time, we are enjoying the concert more because it was full of surprises! If you could only see how happy and touched we were, saying that the concert was awesome and truly a unique experience.
Flow G’s set
I was never really a fan of Flow G, but I was amazed by his set because not only it had DJs, electronic drunmer, and a full band, he also had an orchestra backing him up! I was mesmerized by his whole production, and his projected visuals were something like that of big rappers like Travis Scott. It was awesome; truly Hollywood quality.

Flow G had the most collaborations on his set, the first one being with his real-life sweetheart Angelica Yap, a.k.a., Pastillas girl, with his hit song “Burgis.”
As I have guessed, it was SB19’s resident rappers, Josh, Pablo, and Ken who joined Flow G in another song. But another highlight if Flow G’s set was when he was joined by Skusta Clee and no other than the tap icon himself, Gloc-9.

SB19
Well as an A’Tin, my most favorite part of the night was SB19’s performance. There is no bias there because I have witnessed the boys perform for five times now and they always give me new experiences every time, the latest being the best, and I always crave for more.
They started with their worldwide-trending hit, “Gento,” and were joined by the Bini girls at the end of the song. They then played my latest favorite, “Moonlight,” and went ahead to sing their ballad tracks.

As usual, the boys have proven that they can perform with live vocals without MR, which I’m most proud of.
A highlight of the SB19 set was when they were given six awards, given by Puregold and A’Tins. Everything was fun and the boys truly deserved to be appreciated. The most notable award in my opinion was that of Pablo’s, when Puregold and A’Tins recognized him to be one of the drivers of P-Pop in the country and worldwide.
End Song
After SB19’s performance, all the performers Bini, Flow G, SB19, and Aling Puring showed up on stage to perform Puregold’s “Nasa Atin ang Panalo” song. It was the perfect end to a wonderful evening. It’s the first time we witnessed a company like Puregold co-celebrating their success and milestones with OPM music—something that is essential to advocate for.
