STAYC has finally unveiled their debut full-length album, “Metamorphic,” on July 1st! After a month of teasing fans with tantalizing previews on social media, showcasing the members in striking leopard patterns and black-and-white tones, the wait is over.
cing their third mini-album “TEENFRESH” last August. The album’s title signifies transformation and change, reflecting the group’s growth since their debut. Produced by Black Eyed Pilseung (B.E.P.), it arrives four years after their debut, capturing the story of their evolution and musical development.
Known for their vibrant energy and quirkiness, STAYC continues to showcase their unique style through their self-coined genre “TEENFRESH.” With this album, they broaden their musical spectrum with tracks that embody their confident and distinctive coolness, introducing new narratives to their ever-growing fanbase.
The album features a diverse tracklist, including “Twenty,” “1 Thing,” “Give It 2 Me,” “Let Me Know,” “Nada,” “Beauty Bomb,” “Gummy Bear,” “Flexing On My Ex,” and “Trouble Maker.” It also includes unit songs like “Find” by Sieun, Seeun, and J, “Fakin'” by Sumin and Yoon, and ISA’s solo track “Roses.” Additionally, “Stay WITH me,” a fan song written by all members, makes a heartfelt addition. This makes a total of 14 tracks, showcasing the members’ active participation in songwriting and their musical transformation.
The title track, “Cheeky Icy Thang,” is a cool anthem with a hot attitude, evoking images of a confident runway strut on a sizzling summer street. It perfectly captures STAYC’s diverse charms—cool like ice, yet hot and cheeky. Black Eyed Pilseung (B.E.P.), the representative producer of High Up Entertainment, participated in writing and composing the song, further expanding STAYC’s musical palette.

STAYC has previously achieved hits with songs like “Teddy Bear” and “Bubble,” and successfully completed their world tour “TEENFRESH” in March, solidifying their popularity in Asia, North America, and Europe. They will return to Los Angeles on July 26th for KCON LA 2024 as part of a star-studded lineup that includes BIBI, ENHYPEN, Kep1er, NCT127, NMIXX, P1Harmony, and ZEROBASEONE.
