Icelandic-Chinese artist, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Laufey has won the 2024 GRAMMY for “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album” for her critically acclaimed work, ‘Bewitched’. In her acceptance speech, she expresses gratitude for the honor bestowed upon her.

Laufey has unveiled a video of her enthralling performance of “Valentine” from her Manila concert in 2023 to celebrate her triumph. “Valentine” soared to the top of the Spotify Jazz Chart upon its release as a single in 2022, marking the beginning of a series of achievements for Laufey. Her album ‘Bewitched’ debuted in 2023, becoming the highest-charting jazz debut in Spotify history. Tracks like “From The Start” garnered international acclaim, propelling Laufey onto ‘The Bewitched Tour’, where she mesmerized audiences in cities like Manila, Singapore, and Taipei.

The GRAMMY win crowns a monumental year for Laufey. In addition to her first GRAMMY win, she graced the Premiere Ceremony stage with a performance of her viral hit “From The Start” and accompanied Billy Joel on cello during his rendition of his latest single.
