On August 11, 2023, Korean-American artist Eric Nam unveiled his latest single titled “Don’t Leave Yet.” The song, authored by Eric Nam, Rabitt (Jason Yik Nam Wu), Boy Matthews, and Christina Galligan, showcases his talent as an entertainer, singer-songwriter, and actor.
Exemplifying his versatile talents, Eric actively participated in both screenwriting and creative direction for the music video. Collaborating with the innovative team at 37th Degree (known for their work with BTS and NewJeans) and renowned choreographer Kyle Hanagami (who has worked with BLACKPINK, CNCO, and Justin Bieber), the video unfolds in a lavish dinner party setting. Amidst extravagant food and glamorous guests, Eric’s character remains detached from the vibrant party happening around him.
“‘Don’t Leave Yet’ is my take on a dance song,” Nam shares. “I wanted to flip the typical dance song on its head and thought about those situations where you or your friend don’t want to go home and stay out dancing instead. Maybe you want to get your mind off things in your life, and this song says we can just dance it all out and stay here as long as you’d like. I’d like to think it’s my version of an uplifting “I’m there for you” kind of moment, but in a fun dance song.”

Continuing the momentum, “Don’t Leave Yet” comes after the launch of the lead single “House on a Hill,” which also serves as the title track of Eric’s upcoming album. In the previous month, Nam collaborated with Em Beihold to deliver a unique rendition of “House on a Hill.” Upon its release, the original track garnered significant acclaim and even secured a spot on ROLLING STONE’s esteemed “Songs You Need To Know” list.
The eagerly awaited album by Eric, “House on a Hill,” is scheduled for release on September 8th. This album will feature exciting collaborations with UK-based artists HONNE & Oh Wonder, as well as Eric’s long-time collaborator and producer, Rabitt, who oversees the album’s musical direction.
After the album’s release this autumn, Eric will kick off his House on a Hill World Tour, encompassing more than 80 performances in North America, Latin America, the UK, Europe, and Australia / New Zealand. Tickets for the North American, Latin American, UK, and European segments are currently available.
