2026 World Tour Kicks Off June 11 | Pre-save & Tickets Available Now

GRAMMY® Award-winning rock band Evanescence has returned with their powerful new single, “Who Will You Follow,” available to stream now. The highly anticipated track was co-written and produced by Zakk Cervini (Bad Omens, YUNGBLUD, Bring Me The Horizon, Spiritbox) and Jordan Fish (Bring Me The Horizon, Poppy, House of Protection, Architects), marking a bold new chapter for the iconic band.

The single serves as the lead preview for their upcoming album Sanctuary, set for release on June 5, available for pre-order and pre-save now. The album features a dynamic blend of production talent, with tracks produced by the Cervini/Fish duo alongside songs produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Korn, Foo Fighters, Rush). Sanctuary will be available as a Digital Album, Standard CD, Deluxe CD, and a limited-edition Box Set. A double vinyl edition of the album will follow on September 4.

Amy Lee on the New Album: “I Am So Damn Proud”

Amy Lee, Evanescence’s hauntingly powerful frontwoman and creative core, opened up about the long road to completing Sanctuary.

“This album is over three years in the making, and finally listening back to it all at once, about to release it to the world, I am so damn proud of every second of it,” Lee shares. “It’s overwhelming. Working on it has been my outlet for so much that feels wrong and out of control, and a place to ignite hope through the power of music and connection.”

She adds with characteristic candor, “Good thing we have the tour all lined up or I wouldn’t know what to do with myself now! I’ve been completely obsessed. I’m dying for the fans to hear this.”

Those words carry weight. For a band that has spent over two decades translating pain into catharsis, Sanctuary arrives at a moment when listeners around the world are searching for exactly that, a safe space, a sonic refuge, a place to process the chaos of modern life.

The Sound of Sanctuary: A Fusion of Old and New Collaborators

The decision to work with both Cervini/Fish and Raskulinecz suggests an album that bridges Evanescence’s signature orchestral gothic rock with contemporary metal and alternative production textures. Cervini and Fish have become two of the most sought-after producers in modern heavy music, known for their work with genre-defying acts like Bring Me The Horizon, Spiritbox, and Poppy. Their involvement signals a willingness to push Evanescence’s sound into fresh, aggressive territory without losing the emotional depth that has always defined the band.

Meanwhile, Raskulinecz, a veteran producer with decades of rock pedigree brings a stadium-filling grandeur that complements Lee’s soaring vocals and piano-driven arrangements. The combination promises an album that feels both rooted in Evanescence’s legacy and unafraid to evolve.

2026 World Tour: A Global Return

Fresh off the album announcement, Evanescence has unveiled their 2026 World Tour, kicking off June 11 in West Palm Beach, Florida. The massive run will journey across North America, the UK, and Europe, bringing the band’s theatrical, emotionally charged live show to fans on three continents.

Special guests on the North American leg include Spiritbox and Nova Twins, two of the most exciting names in modern alternative and heavy music. For the UK and Europe shows, Poppy will join as special guest, with Nova Twins opening outside the UK. Additionally, K.Flay, who features on Evanescence’s recent single “Fight Like A Girl,” will open the UK shows and will also support the band for their highly anticipated Red Rocks Amphitheatre concert in Morrison, Colorado on October 26.

In a meaningful gesture, Evanescence has partnered with PLUS1, so that $1, £1, or €1 from every ticket sold will support organizations providing humanitarian aid and medical relief to those in need around the world. It’s a small but significant way the band is extending its message of compassion beyond the music.

Recent Success: “Fight Like A Girl” and “Afterlife” Dominate Charts

Evanescence has been building momentum steadily. Their most recent tracks, “Fight Like A Girl (feat. K.Flay)” and “Afterlife,” have already received instant praise from both fans and critics.

“It’s an exciting time to be a fan of Amy Lee and co.,” raved LOUDER magazine. Revolver Magazine echoed the sentiment, stating, “Evanescence’s first song in four years finds the band hitting what they hit best.”

“Afterlife” in particular dominated the charts, reaching the No. 1 spot on both Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart and Mediabase’s Active Rock Radio chart in both the U.S. and Canada. Those numbers prove that Evanescence remains a vital force in rock music, more than two decades after their breakthrough.

A Legacy of Unprecedented Success

To understand the weight of this comeback, one must look back at Evanescence’s historic run. Their 2003 debut, Fallen, remains the sixth best-selling album of the 21st century, ranking just behind Lady Gaga’s The Fame and ahead of Coldplay’s A Rush of Blood to the Head. With over 17 million copies sold worldwide, Fallen is one of the best-selling albums of all time.

The album’s stratospheric singles, including the iconic “Bring Me to Life,” broke the Top 10 in more than 15 countries and topped Billboard’s Mainstream Top 40 and Alternative Airplay charts. “My Immortal,” a haunting piano ballad that showcased Lee’s vulnerable yet commanding vocal delivery, became a Top 10 hit in over ten countries, including the US, UK, and Australia.

Those songs didn’t just chart, they embedded themselves into the cultural DNA of a generation. For countless listeners, Evanescence provided the soundtrack to heartbreak, healing, and finding strength in vulnerability.
