Grammy-nominated rock band Incubus — featuring Brandon Boyd, Mike Einziger, José Pasillas II, Chris Kilmore, and Nicole Row — has signed with CAA for global agency representation. The signing follows the band’s successful U.S. tour, where they performed their iconic 2001 album Morning View in full alongside career-spanning hits, marking the second leg of an arena run that began in 2024. With new music confirmed to be in development, Incubus continues its partnership with management firm Velvet Hammer and legal representative Todd Cooper of Greenberg Traurig, LLP.

In executive shifts, Empire has appointed industry veteran Jennifer Way as Executive Vice President of its Nashville office. Way will spearhead strategy, talent signing, creative campaigns, and business development for Empire Nashville. “I’m thrilled to join Empire—a team of disrupters prioritizing originality and artist-first thinking,” stated Way, who previously served as SVP of Marketing at Sony Music Nashville, overseeing global marketing and artist development. Empire CEO Ghazi praised her “deep Nashville roots and ability to break global stars,” highlighting her role in expanding the label’s country division.

UnitedMasters Africa released the 12-track compilation album Most Likely, spotlighting emerging African talent. The project paired artists like Nigeria’s Salle (“Mind”), Zimbabwe’s Kyla Blac (“Not A Love Song”), and Romi (“Ka Ma Gbadun”) with producers and mentors including Sarz, WurlD, Blaqbonez, and Louddaaa during an intensive 3-day camp. The album showcases genre-blending tracks like Rigo Kamp’s “Check It” and Tolani’s “Thinking Of You,” emphasizing artistic innovation across the diaspora.

Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis and actor Shane Powers launched Jolene, a concert-friendly canned coffee brand. Their debut products include Jolene Black (organic black coffee) and Jolene White (oat milk latte sweetened with coconut sugar), designed for music venues and festivals.

MusExpo, in partnership with A&R Worldwide, will honor Reynold D’Silva (founder/CEO of Silva Screen Music Group) with its “Lifetime Achievement Award” at its 26th global edition (March 22–25, 2026). The award recognizes D’Silva’s 50-year career, from performing in India’s first disco to building a renowned independent music empire. The ceremony will occur March 23, 2026, at Castaway in Burbank.

Amazon Music announced an exclusive pre-sale for Selena’s Dreaming of You 30th-anniversary vinyl, housed within its new Latin Music Vinyl and CDs Store. The dedicated marketplace offers curated Latin vinyl collections and hard-to-find releases. “This store celebrates vinyl’s resurgence in Latin music,” said Rocio Guerrero, Amazon Music’s Director of Latin-Iberia.

Sony Music Nashville signed pop singer-songwriter Ian Harrison, releasing his debut single “Not The One” (co-written with Daniel Agee and Nick Wayne, produced by Agee). “So blessed to join the Sony Nashville team,” Harrison stated. He is managed by Zach Beebe (OTRmgmt), booked by WME, and published through Warner Chappell.
