The signing ceremony unfolded at the Warner Music Philippines Office in BGC, Taguig City, marking a momentous achievement in the band’s burgeoning musical odyssey. Key figures present at the signing included Brando Bal’s Manager, John Lloyd Elsisura, and Warner Music Philippines A&R Director, Kelley Mangahas.
Warner Music Philippines, a regional arm of the global music giant Warner Music Group, has been a pivotal label in the Philippines’ music scene since its establishment in 1977. The label has played a crucial role in fostering and launching various Filipino music artists and bands, including Dilaw, Lola Amour, Felip, Arthur Miguel, and international sensations such as Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Dua Lipa, and Cardi B.

Brando Bal stands out as one of the swiftly ascending OPM bands in the indie music landscape of the Philippines. Formed in 2020, the band comprises Mark Brando Baloloy on guitar and vocals, Allen Lestingyo on guitar, Marjun Gonzales on bass, Zedrick Lara on keys, and Merwin Hipona on drums. Their distinctive fusion of soulful Blues, Pop Rock, and Alternative Rock has carved a unique niche in the indie music scene.
Renowned for their hit single “Anghel,” accumulating over 4.1 million streams on Spotify, Brando Bal resonates with audiences through relatable lyrics and catchy melodies.
