Spotify Tatak Pinoy Live on TV5’s Vibe has announced pop-alternative rock band Over October as its premier fan-selected headliner, merging digital streaming with broadcast television to amplify Filipino musical talent. Chosen through a public vote on the Vibe with Tatak Pinoy playlist, the band’s victory demonstrates how Tatak Pinoy Live enables listeners to directly support their favorite artists.
The inaugural cycle showcased three nominated tracks from the Tatak Pinoy playlist on Spotify, representing the dynamism and variety of contemporary Pinoy music: “Dahan” by Over October, “Sulyap” by Arthur Miguel, and “BLACK N’ WHITE” by Dilaw. Over October ultimately claimed the winning position and graced the Tatak Pinoy Live Stage during the November 23 Vibe episode, delivering their music to an audience curated in partnership with Spotify and powered by listener votes.
For dedicated supporters, the occasion was equally memorable. A select group of Octobears who voted for “Dahan” received special entry to the Spotify Premium Fan Lounge, where they interacted with the band and connected with other fans before the broadcast. They were also granted a premium viewing experience for Over October’s live performance—an exclusive opportunity for fans to engage with the music intimately.
